They like to race, don't they?!

I hate it when the slower car(s) in the left hand lane merge into the continuing, overtaking lane well before they have to.

Only rarely do I see a motorist doing as I do: Sticking to the solid white line on the left and merging naturally into the continuing lane. No need to change course or take any other action. Leaves faster cars the maximum amount of time to overtake. Always makes me think of a sensible and considerate driver when I see it.

I'll be surprised if I see that technique three times on a return trip to the snow and multiple trips to the ski tube.

Like considerate parking, it is simply a function of driving to accommodate the needs of other motorists.
If the answer to the Monty Hall problem was 50/50, the contestant, on average, would win the car 50% of the time simply by sticking with their original guess...but you can only win a one-in-three guessing game 33.33% of the time so it can't be 50/50, can it?

Sometimes I even see another motorist driving to accommodate my needs.

I don't know about VIC, but this kind of behavior is actually illegal in NSW.(well, people still do it)

Not to mention, they aren't very "green" when you consider what it takes to manufacture/dispose/recycle them!!!
