I found it hilarious that the V12 diesel Audi Q7 was allowed (probably banned now).

Well that is why I love living in maroons' territory

Bernard Tomic is auctioning the BMW M3 as he said it caused too much trouble.
Can't see why people don't just suck it up, live with a cheap get-by car until they are 20 and then get what they want then.
That's what dad told me, guess it's a previous generation
I. Bought my audi : months after I got my license, when I got my license I bought a 1988 Honda civic of ebay, such a fun car

I had a get by car until 2 years ago.
I don't think the rules are fair as i could kill myself in an excel as well as a riceline.
However the laws were made to be easily enforced and as such we have to live with them.
You can still be a car enthusiast without having a FI car or a V8 etc.
I didn't even own a car until I was 20. Didn't need one as I lived in inner Sydney. Plus, I couldn't afford one.
I'm now not affected by this legislation in any way shape or form. It doesn't mean I can't recognise that it is a pointless piece of legislation designed to appease the health and safety types that seem to be more and more common in this world.
It's just a cheap knee jerk reaction designed to appease the ACA and Today Tonight watching community. Let's ban kids from driving a low pressure turbo Saab 9-3 despite it being a very safe car. Let's allow them to drive VN Commodores instead. Much safer.
It's just pathetic lowest common denominator politics.
