More boring than drag racing? If you consider drag racing "boring", you simply do not understand it.

I love the dynamics of drag racing, ie, the engines, the engineering, the pure horsepower, and the amazing times laid down by the Top Fuelers, and the like, but it doesn't have the flair of say, rallying, which I think is the most skillful type of motorsport around.

    Word.

I thought your dragster would have a had a bigger motor.

Power skids arn't useless!!! Neither is building a car to run massive numbers. I'm prity sure it wasn't built with any other intent other than to see what sort of power can be achieved. If its built to run massive numbers on dynos and it does that then it is useful.
Id like to see another street car with 2 wheel drive and 1700+hp be 'useful' lol.
Saw a 650hp twin turbo 20v 6n polo pure sex show car on euromedian recently, no one is having a cry saying thats useless. It even has TWO turbos on a 4cyl....just coz.

Nah dude. She's 392 CUI bored 20 over. Don't worry, that LS would last longer. Haha.

I'm saying that the curve is not useful even on the drag strip. No matter what car it is in. It's cool, it took skill and effort to build, but it's built for one purpose and one only.. You can't really filter those engine characteristics into anything else.

Yeah i get what you mean, i can see that its only a dyno queen, everything done to it is aimed at peak power only but I find it stupid that others give it negative comments because of that, like its easy or something. Or like driving a slaped pos hatchback that makes 40kw is more useful....shiz we still do that and give props to it.

Not looking to compare the dragster to the LS, i mean you don't have to wear a mask to drive the LS do u. The only other person i can think of that wears a mask to drive a car is Batman. Wearing a mask to drive = Best

It amazes me that a VW can make 1000whp+ and no one posts about it :
    VWVortex.com - Congrats to Ed@FFE Racing for making 1000+whp!!!!
