Congratulations, having children is a wonderful, life changing experience. Enjoy and savour every minute, they grow up very quickly.

    Cheers

thanks all for your well wishes.
tracey is doing well... off all the drips and things and slowly getting up and about.. looks like coming home late today or tomorrow. standard c-section stay now is 3 days.
Lucy is still doing really well.. doing everything they expect from her. feeds have been increased to 1ml 2hourly.... and CPAP is being reduced gradually but is only air assistance not oxygen. still breathing on her own. jaundice levels up so she is on phototherapy.

definitely cant wait to bring her home but know it will be about 8 weeks before that can happen. needs to stay in NICU till for about 3 more weeks then into SCN (special care nursery) till near due date. at least in SCN she can be transferred nearer to home so it makes visiting a little easier.

Our first (now 2 years old) was 7 weeks prem so have been through SCN before so its not all new..
jetta is definitely good for kids. will now have two seats in the back and plenty of room in the boot for all the crap ya gotta carry.

Hah! Just watch her when she turns 16 and wants to learn to drive YOUR car!

But seriously, warm wishes to you all and all the best for her health and long life.

(My 16 year old drives Madam Jetta and she hasn't done too much damage)
