    I like it but the tray isn't long enough to be of much commercial use really.

    It's like the new Navara in regards to tray length.
    Still awesome to see a proper VW Ute again

    Just need an R-Line variant and a longer tray and it will be truly awesome.

    Very interesting. It does look nice. These sorts of utes are VERY popular in Southern Africa where the Hilux is king. The Nissan Navara (called the Hardbody in Africa) and Isuzu will probably the the main competition for it. Will be interested to see what the uptake in Aus is like. When do they reach our shores?

    Looking at the engines, the power ratings are different to those of the Tiguan's TDI, so I'm wondering if it's a totally different engine designed specifically for the Amarok?

    Provided it's priced right, VW can take the cake from Toyota in this sector as well

    What do you think they'll sell for here? Or are they even confirmed? I am thinking of a 4x4 Dual Cab Hilux (NEVER thought i'd drive a toyota) after the .:R but this would be WAY better!
