Why would you? It's a sound conduit that would a) melt if you connected it to the exhaust and b) bring noxious gases into the cab.
If you want to hear the exhaust remove some sound deadening from the boot. When we were test driving V8 Commodores the utes sounded a lot better than the sedans due to the large sound chamber behind the cab, particularly if a hard tonneau was installed. The redline, without a spare, sounded even better...
