At best, you'll be inconvenienced to some extent.
Yeah, found my VIN in that list. I was hoping to win the meat tray. So I just sit back and wait for VW to contact me somehow?

Congrats, your VW appears to be fitted with the claymore anti-personnel mine option.

I would keep an eye on the ACCC Product Safety Australia website, there are instructions at the top of the webpage I linked that help you subscribe to receiving updates. You could also keep an eye on the official VW Australia website as well but that one has yet to be updated with this latest update . . .

Any idea how you might check if you have changed your MFSW and airbag?

So, more people die on Aussie roads every year than have killed by these airbags. But we don’t tell people to immediately stop driving cars. #perspective

There will be no Air Bag Changes to your can under the recall
Its the trigger mechanism usually located in the middle of your Dash
I had my Navara done under the recall and no air bags were changed ,

    Easy now...

It varies from car to car.

Pulsars, X-Trails, Patrols, etc are all getting complete replacement airbags.

    Newest Air Bag Recall

Here we go, folks. Who's on the August list (like me) and who can wait for a while?
