    New Ferrari FF

    Dunno if you've seen this yet but Ferrari have lost their minds;

4WD 4 seat family car weight almost 2000kg. 6.3-liter V12 direct injection engine, with 651bhp (at 8000 rpm) and 504 lb-ft of torque. 0-to-100 KPH in 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 208 MPH.

Personally i hate it, looks like a BMW M Coupe and it's the complete opposite of what they should be building, a small lightweight sub $200,000 sports car.

And what happens if they do an 'S' version, it'll be the the Ferrari FFS

I disagree, I love it. Soo much better than the 612. I also love how they have the balls to do something a little different to the Ferrari ideal, sure the roofline isn't exactly elegant but it mirrors the 250 GT Drogo 'breadvan' so there is history and a lineage there.... plus you can leave outright elegance and svelteness to the 458 and the california, this is the GT bruiser.

But the breadvan wasn't a Ferrari design, it was done by a customer & designed by Bizzarini, so it wasn't an official Ferrari model. To quote an outside source
"The Breadvan was developed by ex-Ferrari personnel and raced by a team that was refused sale of the car they wanted most, the 250 GTO. At the time, Enzo Ferrari must have been particularly perturbed as he did not allow the car the race as a Ferrari, nor carry his badges."
Old man Enzo would be spinning in his grave at the site of this thing.

At least the 612 was elegant, this thing is awful, they've fallen into the same trap as Porsche with the design of the Cayenne by trying to make it look like a 458 from the front. No idea what it will cost but it'll be well north of $400,000 and think of all the other beautiful cars available in that price range. If you can afford that you can afford a family car & a proper Ferrari sports car.

It's just further dilution of the Ferrari brand and is kind of telling that the current line up of cars isn't selling as well as they want so they need to expand into other markets. No doubt it will sell, i just think its a shame that they went in this direction.

It looks like a cross between a Jag E Type and a Shooting Break.
    I don't mind it.

People keep saying things like ferrari should only make 2 door sports cars etc.
People also said Porsche should focus on sports cars however the Panamera and Cayene (both 4 door) are their highest selling models world wide.
Ths profits from this allow them to make the low sales sports cars.

True. However, Porsche don't have a theme park & merchandising franchise to rival Man Utd, to boost their revenue streams.

I just think it's bad timing too. The rest of the car making world is starting to move away from bloated SUV style cars and towards lighter more efficient models but Ferrari is going to build a 2 tonne V12 leviathan.

If it was a more elegant design, like a Quattroporte or AM Rapide i'm sure i wouldn't be moaning

    Needs more lowz.
I reckon it looks more like a Maserati gran turismo had a baby with a BMW M and some how some mazda 3 got in there too, that big smile face front end.
