Good luck with that list... That's quite a choice!
One bit of advise- DO NOT BUY FROM AUDI WEST BRISBANE!!!!
What a complete bunch of tossers, especially their service manager.
Cost me thousands of dollars. He notified Audi Australia about my ecu tune and recommended a full restriction ie. no warranty. These sort of things are "at the service managers discretion" so to speak, as to whether they report it or not. He made out to me that he was the "hero" trying to save the day but in fact he was the cause of the problem. I only wish we hadn't moved to Tas and were still in Qld- I'd love to "lay hands on him" (not in the biblical sense)
I only found out all this last week when I took our Q5 in for service.
Best dealership on the planet- Jacksons VW & Audi, Hobart!
Good luck

First of all, thanks guys for all the great replys! Sorry for the late reply as I have been busy
Oh yes they are a lovely car indeed! I have a real spot for them and just love them
Cheers!
My dollar will go a lot further I know, but the quality, finish and pure excellence of the Audi's I just love. Like the interior of the the Audi's so much more. And Benz will always be a Benz haha. Thanks mate
I have a mate who has a Clubman and a Countryman, driven both and they drive well. Quite fun but the quality, finish and the interior puts me off really. And the looks of the Countryman just scare small children lol. I think I'd pass on a Mini but thats anyway man, really appreciated
Its tempting... A lot of value for money and I get get one with every option other than a sunroof for only 45K. Its a hit on my list for sure! Cheers!
It does too a point I guess you could say. But overall the A4 is a more refined and beautiful design while the Jetta I feel is more aggressive in 147TSI trim. I'd buy a Jetta over a A4 though unless the A4 was in Quattro spec just to miss out on the CVT haha. I would actually probably get a Jetta over any model Passat, is that just me haha?
I've considered waiting a few months but we really want to do something with the A3 very soon. I'd consider buying a current 1Z Series 2 RS but dealers are running out of stock, and resale is an important factor. Like my old man's Octavia, valued at Skoda 14 months after purchase for only 12K. Thanks anyhow man
So it looks like im going with an Audi for certain. It looks like they are going to give me a superb trade and better than anywhere else, so I am now choosing between A3 or Q3
I am having trouble choosing though. I want petrol again, and in the A3 range I have the 1.4TFSI and 1.8TFSI available. And my budget I have is around the 50K mark. So do I get a 1.4TFSI and really highly option it up to a lovely level or do I get the 1.8TFSI and a few little options?
Or instead do I just get a Q3 2.0TFSI?
Advice would be very appreciate, cheers
If it's the A3 I reckon go the 1.8 - I got a quote for the Ambition + paint, sunroof & technik package under 50k driveaway - So depending on what you're after options wise it should be within budget. IMO it's better to get the next model up and get one or two options rather than getting the base model and going nuts with options...
Q3 will set you back a bit over 50k (new) - this is for the base manual 2.0 quattro with paint and maybe one option. Assuming you go the auto will add some coin. I wouldn't bother with the 155kw - save your money and get the 125 then tune it. From memory you're not missing out on much - I just remember not being able to justify the extra 7k or so for a 155 and some extra bits and pieces....
Enjoy the car shopping!
