and im sorry, but the new 5 series looks so emotionless and "check me out im the almost-boardroom kid". the differences between this and its predecessor remind me of the first time i saw the new lexus's released (except for the i.s.)

Hahaha...once again, if you look at them long enough they start to look ok.

I drove an X6M today. Weapon.

In the scenario of me washing it and making it look presentable for the showroom I'm a detailer at bmw..lol...''detailer''

i didn't drive it more than a few hundred metres but when i put my foot down it went fast and sounded good..not much more i can say really!

It reminds me of a Scarab Beetle...

my biggest question in regards to the x6 is this.
what purpose does it serve? other than its less practical and looks ridiculous why would you buy one over an X5?

None! They just invented it and put it on the market - and funnily enough, people actually bought them!

I always imagined they were used for committing murders, at least thats what I would use a completely blacked out one for...maybe the odd wedding and high school formal too.

which is why i'll never have a car like a skyline or a silvia or supra etc etc... i respect jap for sure, but why have a daily that takes up x square meters and yet skimp on usable space?

but back to the x6... perhaps its bmw's response to audi's q5/7 and their whole "check out our elevated body and suv practicality, AND the tapered roofline of a sporty lower profile coupe...." thing that they've got going? atleast that's what i read in some audi literature...

    its horse ****e and ugly.
