I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...
So you signed a declaration (a legal document) that you didn't have goods bought out of the country worth more than $900 (or whatever it is), thereby also committing tax evasion and then come onto a public internet site and admit to it (almost gloat about it in fact) and don't expect to be caught? The Tax office know where you live, the sort of car you drive and most likely your name (with some detail matching in the quite extensive systems) all by the information on this website. Smart.
Anyway, it's a nice watch. I spent a lot on a watch in Switzerland last year (can't really go to Switzerland without buying a Swiss watch) and I've worn it every day since. It's AWESOME!!! And you know what, when you declare it, and you're wearing it, the worst that happens is a bad joke from a Customs Officer about how his watch sucks and could he have yours and then him marking down the value as less than the threshold because it's now "used" so it's not longer worth what you paid for it. So for the not taking the option of no problem whatsoever, I really hope the ATO don't catch up with you about it.
Not any decent sort of car. It's really not a huge amount of money to spend on a good watch.

i love good watches and wear mine everyday
I never check the time on my phone, thats what a perfectly good watch is for, plus they look good.

Nice watch.
I've not actually worn a watch for a long time as I tend to wreck them but do use my phone to check time.

AU retail is around $5k, so I'm happy
mine's made of titanium and yet its still very heavy, its quite thick. i'll need to swap it from left to right wrist from time to time to keep the biceps even!Originally Posted by dubsteve
