The GTI is Gone!!!

Yes thats right as of last night I am now mk1-less

The mk1 was sold to a 29 year old who has been after a mk1 for a while. He came saw it on Sunday liked it and gave me the call on Monday to say he'd be picking it up on the Tuesday. He came yesterday with his mate and they picked it up. It went for the amount I wanted which was fantastic for the piggy bank I must say. On top of that as he was giving me the money I was almost hesitant to take it and almost said I have changed my mind I am keeping it

The mk1 was a experience to be had, and to top it off the convertible with its stance was a poser. I have never seen so many people look at it like a fezza lol! It was enjoyable to drive and I loved every moment of owning the GTI.

Was very sad last night when it left the drive way and on the way to its new home, that car has come along way from where it was to now. In saying that it now leaves me Dubless well to a extent, the mk3 will it ever be finished who ****ing knows, we shall see I will take my time with it and now have a definitive route I want to take with it so people will have to wait for project 504 to commence again.

I just thought I'd show you guys from what it was to know, a small timeline so to speak.



















It was probably one of if not the lowest mk1 in Oz right now. I loved it I had no problems with the ride it was awesome!

To top this off on Monday night I got a call from a agency that wanted to have my car in a photoshoot editorial....... for New Idea hehe. They wanted to have my car is background dressing for something they wanted to do to be done on the saturday at fox studios. I told what they wanted and he was stoked so whoever reads New Idea might be able to see it in there lol, which I thought was cool cause they wanted to pay me.

Do I regret selling the mk1? Yes and No I will most probably have to buy that mk1 again in the future!

Wow, congratulations on the sale but it is a shame to let such a beautiful example go.
