My current ride is a 2008 Suzuki GSX-R750, and is my third bike. Looks completely stock, but has different clipons (wider, higher) and upgraded suspension internals (so much nicer to ride).

First ride was a 1996 Suzuki GSX250F Across. Rode it til it got a bit too tired, and then sold it for parts.
Second ride was a 2006 Suzuki GSR600. Premature death due to t-boning a careless snap u-turner. Frame snapped off at the headstock, writing it off.

The wife also has a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600, so everyone in the family rides!

when you say "supermotard kit", is there much involved in the conversion?

if ever i were to get a bike, it'd be a supermotard... they just look so damn cool! (and comfy, and practical etc etc)
The TE510's kit, I bought thru the dealer I bought the bike thru... the "kit" was a set of 17" rims (3.5" front, 5" rear) with sticky Michelin Pilot Power Pro's, 320mm Motomaster Disc & Caliper spacer/adapter...

Wound the suspension up to the max, dropped the forks, but it really did need a revalve and heavier springs... Also ordered a new caliper, a 4 pot Billet Brembo, but it turned up after the bike was stolen...

Also, don't go thinking Supermotos are A) Practical or B) Comfortable... they are neither!

As for the SMRR, I haven't touched it as yet, in regards to throwing different parts at it, but I am amassing a collection of stuff, slowly slowly,so when I have some motivation, ill throw it on...

I got a drz 400E with both dirt wheels (606's!) and a set of genuine 400SM wheels for it so far its been too much fun! looks hot to~
Am slowly modding it to how I want, UFO tail, trailtech, rack etc. Am looking to set it up for a ride to the cape in August which will be a challenge!

still getting use to it. raising the front end by over revving is a bit scary in the first two gears and to be honest havent used 4th gear yet its a bit of an overkill for Sydney streets. This is a track bike. Need to do more track days to gain confidence rather than **** myself> Its fun though.

It'd be a mint track bike, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it unless I was REALLY certain I wouldn't drop it. just thinking about the repair bill makes my eyes water :S
