the hail set my alarm off, but i didnt notice any damage, thankfully.
victoria's screwed. we got more ice outta the sky today than we usually do during the snow season.
why oh why do i continually fork out $1400 a season to ski on dirt???
Sounded pretty terrible. My sister who lives in Melb had damage to her apartment and it flooded her room. A lot of her possesions were ruined.
I live in Southbank and it always floods because it is very low ground here.
My whole street flooded and cars outside were full of water, was trapped as the water was so high I couldnt get out.
As it finally went down I walked over near Casino and the whole of Clarendon st was under water.
Was funny standing there for a hour watching cars try and get through like a river corssing and cheering them on, some got stuck half way
As i walked up towards City Rd it was even worse, as far as I could see was water, police had closed it off, could see cars sitting there with water up to the windows.
Never seem anything like it before![]()
I was in the middle of painting my engine bay and it started hailing!! Had to rush the car into the car port, only to realise rain still got in, due to it raining on a angle haha!
No damage though, maybe just a s*&# paint job. (luckily i had jsut started)
Just checked my car out, thankfully I can't see any damage. It was covered in leaves and crap, so I won't really know until I wash it.
I was out on the street with hailstones bouncing off my head trying rather unsuccessfully to hold a blanket over my car until the worst had passed... I think it's ok, will be able to tell better when it's dry.
