great episode guys, just needed a little less poke (more camber or pulled guards) and another inch or two drop. would love to see more euros in future episodes!

Sadly? Should have been a highlight of your automotive experiences...
I went from a mkV GTI to a Wrangler and stuck with it for 3 yrs. Had a blast with it but it taught me how to be patient with problems.... I should be one step closer to being mentally prepared to own an Alfa or Fiat next.
(I'm back in a MkV GTI now...boring i know but the idea was to drive something pretty reliable but not deathly boring...damn thing has already broken twice )

Yes that would have been ideal but we were on maximum camber with our set up, plus as low as we could go to actually drive it. We were going to dump it it once we got to the Honda meet but then people would have known that we owned it (which we were trying to keep a secret - we had someone else drive it into the meet for us then push it backwards into the parking spot). But yes any lower and was actually undriveable. Rips the fenders off twice while testing...
Anyone know where I can get a set of steelies like that?
Awesome episode as always. Only issue is that i've never seen a 'rat rodded' vw, even on vwvortex. Does remind me of the late rusty

it's not Euro unless it's incredibly impractical and barely drivable :p just kidding, it actually looked pretty cool sitting how it did, quite different to the general "hellaflush" sort of look people go for in these mk3s. I certainly won't be rusting out my mk3 any time soon, but have always been curious about how to create it. what you've made certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I think it's a work of art!
what's going to happen to the car now? are you going to sell it or something or might we see it appearing again somewhere in the next season? a vr6 motor conversion would be fun to watch

Hey mate. Sorry for the initial post, if somebody has to apologise then it's me: I had a 'end-of-the year-party' from work and was a bit 'tipsy', of course the episode is great and I'm a MCM fan myself (bought a couple of things from your shop before), so sorry again keep up the good work and have a good start into the new year.
Just found this thread and my post by accident
