    Sad to hear and see the legendary mk1/2 racer's family furniture store burnt down in mindless rioting.

    This having a VW connection is a coincidence, but the loss of such an iconic piece of arts and crafts architecture is simply heartbreaking in terms of the fabric of the city. A reproduction will never replace this.

    Very sad.

    A total tragedy. All because of the actions of a few thousand piss-weak cowards who think it's brave to cover their faces and run with a mob.

    The comment re-tweeted by Mark Webber says it all for me...

    "These riots are a result of the degradation of personal responsibility and the culture which treats this sort of scum as victims of society"
