damn... i cant believe no one has an opinion??? does that mean i'm stupid?
hi all, i'm looking for advice to help sway me.
i have a 2008 GTI Pirelli with APR Stage 1... my choices are to either continue with upgrades of source a MKVI R...
options for upgrades are new bushes, WALK, sways and coilovers... mad wheelspin today on tight corners so the pirelli really needs these before any further engine/performance mods...
Brand new Golf R loaded with goodies...
My options appear to be simple but is getting my head spinning...
please help, all opinions greatfully appreciated!

Up to you... It's your money... Is upgrading your Pirelli going to cost more than buying an R??

Unless you want 4wd, stick with the Pirelli and get some KW V3s.

thanks all... helped me realise what i have...
so going to continue the journey and lightly mod the pirelli (tastefully)...
thanks everyone who offered some advice/thoughts...
AWD is good but not the best thing since sliced bread, a well tuned suspension setup in your FWD car and you could achieve maximum traction for street driving or even circuit racing.
Solid bushes, suspension tuning i.e. camber, caster and toe, stickier/wider tires and unsprung weight i.e. wheels, brakes, rotors make all the difference

hey, long time no see... you've been quiet recently!
yeah, looking at bushes, coilovers, sways and walk. might put some camber on when i get the next set of tyres...
going to keep the stock rims, paint chrome black if possible.
are you still attached to your spare red stripe?
Don get the chrome powdercoated i know the perfect place.. looks so much better. Camber kits are fun to play around with or I could give your car the same look as mine rofl. Minus the crabbing rofl
