    1. 1993 Ford laser. Great first car. shouldn't have sold it so cheap.
    2. 1976 Mk 1 Golf 2 door LS. Inverted at speed.
    3. 1985 Audi 80 Sport. Sold,
    4. 1985 mk 2 Golf 4 door. Had the intention of fixing and dailying, but sold off.
    5. 1978 Mk 1 Golf 4 door GLS. Was going to be a track beater, but had too much cancer.
    6. 1979 mk 1 Golf 4 door GLD. Current daily.
    7. 91 VN commodore. Owner for 2 weeks. failed roadworthy worse than any of my golfs ever did!

Oh and I wrecked a 76er as well at some stage.

I'm not even off my P's yet either. oh well.

Listed over in the thread but...

2000-2005 - 1972 1300 VW Beetle - reliable as hell but rusty and needed plenty of mechanical repairs (sold 2008 for $300) - 1st car at age 24 or so, only a couple of months after getting my Ps

2005-current - 1976 LS 3 door golf - 4th owner, 115,000km when I got it, very reliable, source of much admiration, but currently burns a bit too much oil and is getting to be a bit of a chore in stop/start traffic.

Other notable cars in my family:

My brother had 2 Datsun 1600s - sedan (written off) and wagon (AWOL). Family car at one time was 180B wagon that I drove a little bit. Full of rust, probable blown head gasket, but just kept on going.

My dad's first car was a brand new 196-something Triumph Herald.

My grandpa had a 1963 Hillman Minx from new until he stopped driving around 1998 or so, aged in his late nineties.

My other brother also had a Hillman Hunter that was the biggest lemon in the family.

Now my family only has boring Corollas, Commodores and Magnas

Trent, I think that there is another thread that is older than that one but I cannot find it.

Amongst others that a mate and I used to restore and sell for some pocket money in high school (beetles and kombi's mainly) and parts cars that cannot count....

    Previously
    1968 Hillman Imp MKIII 875cc
    1986 Holden Astra 1.6
    2000 MKIV Golf 1.6
    2004 Subaru Forester MY05 2.5T
    1976 MKI Golf 5dr 1.4

    Currently
    2005 MKV TDI 2.0T
    1976 MKI Golf 1.8 16V 5dr
    1969 Sunbeam Imp Sport 930cc

I have no regrets about any of them, they were all good cars to me, but I miss them all for one reason or another.

    Awesome!

    1. 1974 TA22 on Centrelines, resprayed silver, retrimmed interior and rebuilt 2TG

    2. 1994 TX3, Auto Salon fully sick car with Nitrous and XBOX! Good thing I made money when I sold it!

    3. Mazda 121 bought for $800 bucks. Best car I ever owned and I shouldnt have sold it

    4. Seat Cordoba with 2.5" reset springs, power windows and 16 inch wheels that I got for $100 with tyres. Shouldn't have swapped this for the VR6

    5. Golf VR6, the one with the penis keymarks, pulled the suitcase off and had a pod filter on it. Good fun to thrash around. Fuel muncher though

    6. MKIV Golf GTI with meth and K04 and Work wheels. Loved this car!

    7. Seat Ibiza GTi 8v with BBS RS, coilovers, which I'm pulling out to put reset standard springs in because Sydney roads suck
