Id be careful using any of VWs logos or material from their websites. Car companies tend to be a litigious bunch!

I think either a Mk6 or Mk1/2 dubb style would be ideal. I don't know if someone's nice looking car that is mid-range, mid-series would be grabbing enough.

perhaps look at employing the services of one of the graphic designers members we have here.

Consider it putting something back into the community that have put so much time/money/loyalty into the site.

I'd be interested in hearing from any graphic designers that might be interested in putting something together for us. I do have a small budget and would be happy to see it go to one of our own so if you know of anyone shoot me their details or get them to send me something directly to admin@vwwatercooled.org.au

I like the layout of the first one. Do not mind the red, but my preference would be a brushed stainless steel look.

I have put this together, just don't know that I am happy with it:

Maybe I should just engage Lorenz services since he put together half of the forum banners and they are fantastic
