This article seems to indicate among other things that VW don't like that Australia is not subsidising the introduction and sales of electric vehicles. I find that puzzling since VWA have publicly disagreed with Mercedes, BMW & others on this point some months ago that they disagreed with the rest of the industry and can see no reason for subsidies to exist and they did not want them and were not seeking them.
