I love my wife - cleans my car

Hi All. I will start off saying that i love my wife.

I have sealed the paint on my car and have all the cleaning cloths etc, etc.
The car has travelled 6000 klm from new and it is my baby.
Just completed a trip of about 2000 klm last week and i had not washed the car, so the car is very dirty.

So my wife was hosing the garden and decided why not wash my car.
By the way her car is a honda jazz.

So, she hosed it down with water and cleaned it with her hand not using a cloth. Wiping it all down with her hand so she could not see the dirt and grime that was on the paint after 2000 klm..

Would you believe i still love my wife.

Do other husbands still love their wife after similar experiences, or are we all alike, and just love our wifes.

    I give in.

    From Graham

I'll make it clear. I'm 18. Wife is not on the cards. But, that Is a tough day.

Hopefully the paint got away with not to many scratches, there's not much worst then noticeable swirls/scratches in paint.

End of the day it's just a car.. Her intentions were good, you can always buff out the swirl marks.

I took a 45km dirt road trip with the gf, and when i stopped to fill up with petrol, i saw her around the back of the car presumably cleaning the window and number plate. When i finished filling it up,i had a look and to my horror she had used a pack of tissues to wipe the dust from the complete back!! She insisted they were soft tissues so what was my problem (as i was screaming hysterically!) Took about 4 polishes over the course of 18 months to get out all the swirls.

(This was my wrx, which i just managed to finally sell, i managed to get it looking immaculate finally at long last for the sale).

And i created my own horror this weekend by washing the golf R for the first time. Even though i used a micro fibre mitt, the lovely piano black bits on the doors have the tiniest swirling that cash be seen under certain lighting (i used a cheesecloth type polishing cloth to rub in the wax stuff, and that may have left the marks, so annoyed with myself).

This is why I will only have one black car in my lifetime. I learned my lesson!!
