Is the lens from the bi-xenon's?

Sucks that you got caught out in it.
    Was there any warning?

Yep. NS. It is cracked just above the washer jet from the bottom up. I washed the car last Sunday and it was not cracked then.

My Skoda vRS was tucked up in the garage. The girls were travelling between Chadstone and Melbourne on a shopping expedition. I knew there was a reason why I don't like shopping.

The Eos has an air of hairdresser to it and costs way too much for what is essentially a convertible golf.
Oi! I'm no hairdresser thanks very much!

Horses for courses really, Jetta is a great car, I loved mine but if you want roof down capability, the Eos is far ahead of its competitors. Maybe a tad expensive but compared to its opposition I think it's on the money. Whilst it may be built on a Golf floorpan and share much in common, engineering and structure wise there is a great deal of difference, much of which you don't see until you drive one for a while. It certainly would be significantly dearer to produce than a Golf.

Anthony, for some reason I thought yours was yet to get to three years, guess time flies when you are having fun. Keep us posted on the outcome.

    Cheers

You've basically got a Jetta convertible! Let me know if you wanna do a front end swap to seal the deal.

I, too, feel the pain of hail damaged vehicles!

I was at Chadstone when it hit and I was running around like a headless chook screaming at my missus that my baby was getting hurt. Worst thing was, we were about to leave and my missus says we'll wait for the rain to pass and then we'll go. And then BOOM, in comes the hail and with it my tears!

Every panel has been dented, I don't think it will be a right off but if it was I'd probably lose out as the car is insured for market value (RACV).

To those that have had paintless dent removal, does the car look like new once repaired or will it never be the same?

    I'm so sad

With a good guy, you will never know there was a dent. I watched a guy working on another car while mine was having more extensive repairs, and it's amazing.
