    I say the letters individually.

    I say either, depends on the crowd. if i'm with my car mates, it's 'vadge' (like hedge), but if i'm not with car people i'ts normally 'volkswagens and audis'

    Yeah I say vadge. If I'm with others though (non car people), saying that means explaining why I sound so crude..heheh.

    TNT is an acronym for trinitrotoluene but you can't pronounce it as a word. It has to be said as "tee-en-tee".

    That's just one example.

    After only reading the acrynom on the web, i always pronounced it "vaj", but i'd get funny looks at work when i said it, hence my question here

    VA Group is easiest i reckon, saves you having to explain

    great that's six different options now. i thought acronyms were supposed to make things easy!

    i probably should have been more specific and said "how do you pronounce VAG when asking for where you left your VAG cable"
    i.e. you wouldn't say, have you seen my VA group cable, i don't think
