I say either, depends on the crowd. if i'm with my car mates, it's 'vadge' (like hedge), but if i'm not with car people i'ts normally 'volkswagens and audis'
I say the letters individually.

for a simple question i've gotten a lot of different answers, no wonder this question has been bugging me!
i've got:
adj x 2
aj x 1 + me
ag x 3
Vee Aye Gee x 2
volkswagen audi group x 1
Though adj and aj might be the same
almost needs a poll!
After only reading the acrynom on the web, i always pronounced it "vaj", but i'd get funny looks at work when i said it, hence my question here

VA Group is easiest i reckon, saves you having to explain
great that's six different options now. i thought acronyms were supposed to make things easy!
i probably should have been more specific and said "how do you pronounce VAG when asking for where you left your VAG cable"
i.e. you wouldn't say, have you seen my VA group cable, i don't think
