    I lol'd when I heard Channel 9 paid $19million for it! What a joke!
Yeah, it's a joke with the delays. At least with some of the shows they've improved things so there's only a day or so break, but we still have a way to go.

You living in Melbourne now? When did you move from the ACT?

I knew 9 had paid a lot for the series, but I didn't realise it was THAT much. That is a joke! It may be the most watched series on earth, but if you are going to snip out so much in order to have more adverts than the actual show, then it loses it's gloss somewhat. No wonder the cooking show pulled in a bigger viewership than TG for the 1st show!

I agree even though SBS had some adds when watching it on Ch 9 it seems like there are more ads than there is actual show. Where do you go to get it on line?

I have one word to say - torrents!

Don't give a toss about TG moving to Channel Bogan I've already seen all the most recent episodes in full months ago.

Torrents ftw! SBS did well with Top Gear UK but the delay meant i'd already seen em 4-6 months ago.

There is something to be said about not having to download em, deal with the crappy video compression, hard drive space and streaming issues (i watch em on my xbox 360 and it refuses to playback any of the hidef versions) but putting up with serious cuts and loads of ads kills it for me.
