Was up at Bracken Ridge at lunchtime, and was only 34.5 outside (once I'd gotten moving)
Obviously the MkVI is that much hotter than the MkV

Feel the power drain, especially in traffic.

One of my friends parked out in the sun and the temp read-out was 45.5C! :O

I'm glad I'm at work where the air-cons are always set to Antarctic temperatures.

JESUS :O That is freaking hot!

I suppose there is one upside the the hot temps, there is no need to warm up tyres if you go to the track as they are already warm once you get there

Had to drive back from the Sunshine coast yesterday when it was at its hottest, not a lot of fun when your car doesn't have AC, especially when you reach Brisbane and have to stop moving and sit in traffic!

This is the reason i go for breakfast laps if we can get it.
At least it should onlybe 26-30.

RACQ were warning yesterday that black cars could expect cabin temp's of up to 75 degrees if they were parked in direct sunlight.
