    HELP MK4 or MK5

    Allright to put my story short i have a choice of a mk4 or mk5 r32 golf the only problem is i dont have a clue wat to do.....HELLLPPPPP!

    Mk4's look oh so much better, but they're too rare.

    Mk5's are nice, but only in Candy White or United Grey.

    mk4 looks better imo,
    probably a bit cheaper too >=]

    im leaning towards the mk4 more than the mk5 but i guess we will just have to see who does the beter deal for me.

    You'll probably be hard pressed finding a mk4 at the moment, if it's anything like two months ago haha. Mk5's are newer, and apparently a tiny bit faster, but imo they don't look or sound as good. Oh and they're more expensive. They're nice cars though...

    Mk V is a much better car... Fully seam welded FTW!

    Mk5 is superior in every way apart from looks and exclusivity. Straight line, not much difference, but for going around corners and a stable chassis the mk5 wins.
    It must be CW or UG
    I still have a hard on for a mk4 though...

    Interior quality on a Mk4 is vastly better - much better materials used inside, the Mk5 was a backward step in terms of cabin quality (not just in the R32, across the range).
    Nothing to see here...

    Mk4 R32 FTW.

    Mk4 looks trucks loads better, they have 3 pedals, and 2doors. (None of this pansy DSG 4door "Hot hatch" crapola... )
