Yes, I've seen a Mk1 GTI for sale a couple of times. Raced against them a few times as well.

I'm at about level 15 i think and still feel like i've only seen about 50% of the games cars.

Anyone else having a problem loading SPECIAL rally series races? I had issues with the tarmac (3rd) round in the beginner series- now the intermediate rally races won't load. Have to quit game as it freezes at end of load. CRAP!

Mine has frozen 3 times in the last week (since I bought it all). Is yours connected to the internet - mine isn't? I asked a mate and he said I should do a software update, the PS3 is only a week old though...

In which case it probably has 30 updates ready to go on. Oh, hang on, the PS3 is Sony, not MS
Not a bad idea to update as much as possible to see if that is the issue - the PS3 might have been manufactured 12 months ago, and require some updates to work with GT5.

It is up to date- there are a few special stages (so far) that I cannot load as it cashes every time I try.
Crap crap crap. It's the only game that has EVER crashed my PS3. also the dts sound is all over the shop- drops out and sometimes goes off on a high pitch whine. My amp doesn't do this with anything else... CRAP!
