    Gt5 wtf????

Having bought GT5 on the MUCH DELAYED release date I was massively disappointed to see the VW dealership didn't even have the Golf R, R32 or Passat R36 on offer yet has a Kubel and a Schwimm....................... WTF?

I sincerely hope this will be addressed in a patch REAL SOON!

There are some very disappoining omissions. You can't put aftermarket wheels on "standard" cars and the only wheels available are all standard size, huh?

Anyway, enough ranting, the game play itself is actually pretty good just some disappointing lack of detail.

Took me a while to get the game playing in a way i like (change controller layout, turn off driving line, manual).

It does appear to be somewhat limited, but TBH I have not spent much time looking around.

I'm executing more cars to be available further into GT mode.

Yeah I noticed those glaring omissions as well. Even if they do decide to offer it as dlc, expect to pay for it.

Yeah there isnt any inclusion of recent VW models in the game.

Overall im pretty happy with physics and gameplay, some shadows are a bit dodgy and i get some pixelation, however i have a feeling this is due to my older model PS3 and projector.

Looking forward to getting to some harder races/online early races the beginner races are killing me with how easy they are.

Post your starting car too, mine was EK Civic Type R

Can't remember which forum member posted up the link to $65 pre-order for it. I haven't got my copy yet through that issuing.
Can't friggen wait for the MX5 list. Less newer VW's the better.

My starter was a Mazda 3 SP23 (with the Japanese name whatever that was). Currently using a 470hp Evo 6 but I now have to get more skill levels to be able to enter the higher classes. How come we have to do the licenses AND have skill levels? I agree Kiel I've had to do far too many easy races to get money/skill levels. It is getting better as more things open up but I feel you spend too much time getting licnces and skill levels, I just want to race!!

started with EK Civic Type R.

VERY disappointed in the game.. not a step up from prologue at all. the omission of R and mk4/5 R32 & R36.. even R50 is shocking. i just hope these cars unlock as you progress further in the game rather than having to pay for them with expander packs...

anyone else noticed how many Japanese cars are available (ie: nissan mazda subaru and toyota) from the various brands? VW and Fiat have next to ZERO representation.

not happy after waiting all these years. (BTW the new need for speed most wanted is great fun...)

Umm... the fact that it's a Japanese-produced game would probably explain the emphasis on Japanese cars.
