hehe yeah blown the budget on the R! But yeah that setup is good enough for me. Does the job and so easy to pack up. Half the time I just leave the ironing board out for the Mrs anyway after I've played some GT5 LOL.

yeah that wheel is great value, has plenty of buttons and dials (including the PS3 controller buttons) and feels nice and solid. I have had it for over a month now driving for at least 1-3hrs most nights with it and it hasn't missed a beat. Even the kids have given it a decent hiding and its still working perfectly. As long as your not fussed about a proper gearbox or clutch pedal its fine. The undetachable up and down gear lever mounted on the right hand side.
Like Dave I'm just driving auto for now anyhow and trying to gold as many races as i can! Halfway to level 26 now. Did a 60 lap endurance race in Spec A the other night. Over 1.5hrs straight real time lol! Lucky I had the Gran Turismo GT car so i flogged the field as quickly as possible by 10 laps LOL. All the other races are even longer in Enduro. Dunno how I am going to complete the 24 hr races?!? I mean who has time to sit that long playing GT5?! LOL
Haha leaving out the ironing board for her, what a top bloke you are! My bunnings saw horse hasn't moved from the middle of the lounge in over a month. The missus doesn't bother walking in the room any more :D
There are buttons behind the wheel as semi useful paddles for shifting if you want. I used them once or twice but auto is fine with me!
