    Cool Green Lightning heading east

    Well... maybe!!

I am seriously considering packing up and heading east to study next year and I'd love for greeny to come along for the ride.

Now the question is, the car is mildly modded, how much of a bastard is it going to be to get it registered in victoria?

Yeah definitely go to Victoria, so you can experience all four seasons in one day (and not the good kind of "Four Seasons").

Or you could come to tropical Queensland, where we have world famous TE facilities along with stunning beaches and the nicest Dubbers in the country.

Mildly modified shouldnt be a problem so long as there is no exposed pod filter, the car isnt stupid low or stupid loud. Ive never had trouble getting a roady with coilovers. Just wind them up.

They will mostly be looking at the condition of the suspension bushes/brakes/tyres/oil leaks/windscreen etc.

If your car is already registered in WA it wont need to be inspected by vicroads so the testers usually go a little bit easier.

    Cheers for the replies guys

Yeah I sure am dylan. I'm keen on studying at RMIT TAFE next year and eventually RMIT proper in Engineering. Greeny has OZ rims, BMC CDA, KW coilovers, a magnaflow exhaust and bigger brakes with slotted discs (plus a bunch of little things). Nothing outlandish but I dont really want to have the cost of transporting it over there and then be stuck with something unregistered.

I was born in ole melbourne town and was dragged over to perth by my folks as a kid in '92 - been pretty keen to move back ever since and now seems like a good time to do that
