    Golf learner near death crash.

What is with these young drivers.
From the TV report it looked like a mk4.

I must say, that looks fantastic for the safety of our Golfs.. VW must love the publicity, not many cars take out poles and come off best

That's what I thought when I read the report this morning. VW FTW!

A (male!) colleague of mine had been arguing that there was no point buying a Golf over a Yaris or Jazz. He had to concede this one.

Then again, the guy () drives a Starlet and likes coupe convertibles...

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that one LOL

PS, notice there were no pics of VWs in your post.

As for VW loving the publicity, I doubt it very much.

    Cheers

True, the Eos isn't as ugly as others.

I don't think the PR is all that bad for VW either. Recently a guy rolled a BMW X5 near Mudgee. Locals were astounded he survived and I remember talkeing to several different people who thought the BMW saved its driver.

Neither I feel bad for my car, it really RARELY gets driven and sits outside most of the time.. Considering putting a note saying DRIVE ME on the windscreen
