    Full Metal Jacket spray wax

Has anyone used this spray wax on their cars?

    Is it worth getting?

Yes I use it regularly on a black Car and my candy white gti, once layered it beads beautifully and gives great protection . I'd say about 3 months after 3 layers, I also use the dark matter max from final inspection over the full metal jacket just to deepen the glossy finish. Well worth the money.

Link to Dark Matter on the Final Inspection web site

Edit - oh and I put FMJ Spray Wax on my daughters car which sits outside over a year ago and still providing excellent protection.

Does it help with the build up of soot on the back of the gti? Or at least make it easier to remove?
    Much prep work before applying?

Very little just a wash and dry before application. I just hose the back and the soot just beads away , it's awesome stuff.

Despite the products name, this is actually a sealant and as such to get the most benefit from its protective capabilities you should prep the surface as you would for any sealant.

However, if you are willing to apply it more often, you can use it as a frequently applied spray on/wipe off product.

This product can be used on all plastics, glass, paint with no staining or residue.

Remarkable product and easy to apply

I was thinking of hitting it with the "truth serum" and giving it a clay bath before applying.

Oh yep, for the first layer I'd clay it before hand for sure.
