    Fuel consumption for everyone!

I see time and time again people talking about fuel consumptions of many many different vehicles so thought it might be a good idea if people use a common platform for measurement and comparison.

I recently noticed in Transporters signature he was using Fuelly so thought I would have a look see. It even has a VB coded link to put in your signature showing your fuel economy! (which is what I saw).

Fuelly | Share and Compare Real World MPG

Personally I use an app called AccuFuel on the iPhone and have done for years, conveniently it exports to csv which with a little fiddling it was easy enough to upload to Fuelly and present all my information for all to see.

good idea but is there a way to make it show metric readouts?

I joined some German site a few years back - blowed if I can remeber the name - many of the the Briskoda folk use it & it shows in either mpg or l/100 or km/l

I don't want to think about how much fuel I use.
The mk1 would use a full tank, about 40L, in 200-250km. So about 20L per 100km. Its obviously not set up correctly though.
The SS will do 500-550km to 70L so about 14L per 100km.

Ill give that Fuelly thing a go.

LOL Apparently it's important for some, I use a Citibank BP mastercard and the more 98 octane I buy the greater my 5% discount is

I think that is exceptional. Mine did that only when the fuel tank cracked!
