I will probably never get to punt a Porsche Carerra GT around the nuburgring IRL, so this is the best I've got.

Now if people could DRIVE PROPERLY in online mode then i'd be set. So sick of people rear ending me when I brake late.
    Don't brake late. Simple.

And all this talk about modding cars and online play is making me want an xbox.

you will be pleased to know this isnt true. so many rumours about the GT5 game coming out. Basically its not finished yet and wont be released until its perfect and a good time for Sony and Polyphony to release which is likely to be end of Q3 2010.

Oh and regarding the physics, in a video game i would rather have a mix of stunning graphics and decent physics. I mean look at some 18mega pixel GT5 screenshots and you will be amazed.

Nah dude... Not being like that at all.

Wierd... When I first looked at your post I got a "hot linking disabled" message from the host server and couldn't see the pic. That's the only reason I posted. Now your link is actually showing the image.

GT5 is delyaed again but will be released, mostly down to the fact it'll come out in 3D
Went to the Sony roadshow Monday night, it looks mighty fine in 3D hehe!
Once its out, I will be buying a PS3!! Wont have a 3D TV, but its going to be epic none the less.

    2010 Devon GTX - S 640
Once it's moving it goes quite well.
Rear end can slip out on accleration after a corner but i had it on pretty hard throttle (reasonable for non-powerslide drifting, but can whip around easily)
Take off is a bit of an issue as it wheellspins for quite a while.

    2010 Gumpert Apollo S - 345.000 - R3 762
Very good grip wise, won't fang the rear out under hard acceleration and only wheelspins a little-bit at takeoff.
Can't drift it unless you hit the handbrake (powerslide)
Very competitive for it's class in stock form.

    2010 Joss Jt1 - 400.000 - R3 718
Different style of car to the gumpert.
Rear end goes out if you force it to (scandanavian flick) on hard acceleration
Easy to maintain a powerslide with.
Not quite as good thorugh the twisties as the gumpert and not as quick on the acceleration either but much more enjoyable i found to drive.

    2010 Mosler MT900S - 320.000 - R3 740
Very grippy car, almost impossible to drift well.
Can't scandanavian flick it at all, and if you touch the accelerator while powersliding it whips around and you lose all the points.
Up side is that it is very fast and handles corners racingwise with ease.
It also keeps it's line at the start and doesn't snap torque steer you into a wall at full throttle from the line.

    2010 Radical SR8 Supersport - 115,000 - R2 853
Very uneasy at the start on full throttle, was all over the place.
Once it gets going the thing absolutely rips down the track.
Bit of rear slip out on full throttle thorugh some sharper corners.
Can handle a powerslide so-so, but very easy to lose control.
Essentially a go kart on steroids and will do well with a few grip upgrades.

    2010 Rossion Q1 - 100.000 - A 598
Takes off well, keeping it's line and not very wheel-spinny.
Power delivery is smooth once moving which makes it easy to scandanavian flick and control.
Almost impossible to handbrake powerslide and maintain drift (especially if you touch the accelerator)
Reasonable car for 100,000 but it lacks feel and enjoyability.
Also feels sedate, like driving a diesel rather than a sports car.

    2010 Spada Vetture Sport Codatronca TS - 400.000 - S 670
Probably the worst car in the pack for me and also the worst looking.
Very hard to control and the rear end slides out very easily (not in a good way)
Can scandanavian flick very easily but hard to maintain drift in
Very awkward power delivery not smooth at all.

    2010 Spyker C8 Laviolette LM85 - 260.000 - A 517
    Very good all round car.
Scandanavian flick's well and very easy to maintain drift line and control of the rear of the car.
Not as good at powerslide control.
Quite grippy though when not at full throttle and very smooth power delivery.
Up there as contender fo best car in this pack.

    2010 SSC Ultimate Aero - 620.000 - R3 762
Hardest car to control, power delivery is way off (not smooth at all).
Wheel spins every time it changes gear (at least to 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear)
Quite fast in a straight line - you can see why it is the fastest car in the world.
Not very smooth through the corners due to gear change wheel spin drift but can be saved.
Veyron would still beat it around a track imho due to smoother power delivery and better ability to corner.

    2010 Weismann GT MF5 - 225,000 - S 615
Very fun car to drive due to smooth power delivery of the BMW M5 engine and the oldschool looks.
Scandanvian flick's well and can pull the back in with a bit of throttle.
Feels heavy to turn in which requires you not carry full throttle thorugh corners.
Would be awesome with some upgrades.

So winners for me are the Joss JT1, Radical SR8 and Spyker C8
