So got my Xbox back the other day and who loves expansion packs? *raises hand*
The 458 Italia is fantastic. The Murcielago SV makes one of the most fantastic sounds ever and the R35 GT-R V-Spec ain't to shabby either.
Plus the rest of the cars in the two packs makes a pretty good update.

The amount of cars now is getting a bit bewildering. I'd really like to see some more tracks. Especially more "motorsport" ones, ie actual race circuits like Spa or Interlagos.
The 458 is very very nice but sounds a bit weird to me.

Yeah Spa would be fantastic as a start, also I don't understand why the full 'Ring and GP circuit was left out as well.
There's a few good Aussie tracks that would be nice as well, Bathurst, Phillip Island and Adelaide all come to mind.

Speak of the devil:
'Ring Grand Prix circuit announced: http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/bl...eview-2-5.aspx
Freaking expensive though at 400 points.

New car pack is a lot of fun.
The Audi TT-Rs is very nimble, i upgraded mine with the R8 V10 and it's like a rocket, even through corners.
The Mazda Furai is an insane vehicle, corners better than anything i have ever used.
The jag xfr, 2 aston's, porsche classic, mugen civic, ford gt (R3) need some work imho before you can use them.
The bmw z4 and the bugatti are awesome for a free lap run unmodified.
I also just clocked the 100,000 point drift lap and got the achievement.
Free tune layout is here: http://www.sfldrifters.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=53190
I used a mines R34 fully upgraded with everything except the tyre compound and size.
Same specs as their 370 and i managed 114k with a lot of erros so you could easily do better with practice.
Managed a 15k point linked drift all the way to the tunnel entrance and then couldn't link it any more of i would have lost it all.
April DLC is out on the 13th (so Wednesday for us i believe)
Golf R will be fun even though its just a tuned GTI with AWD swap.
Hopefully we can do the R20 engine swap into older vw's though.
Taurus SHO, W427 and MX5 Superlight could be quite entertaining as will the e63.
Vauxhall could be good for a bit of fun, but i will probably end up tuning the w427 for powerslides.
The Seat is a waste as there is already one in teh game and the Bentley will handle like aboat as it's predecessors do.
Road & Track DLC Pack Car List
- Seat Leon Cupra R ‘10
- Mazda MX-5 Superlight
- Bentley Continental GT SuperSports ‘09
- Mini Coupé Concept
- Vauxhall Insignia VXR ‘10
- Renault Mégane RS 250 '10
- Mercedes E63 AMG ‘10
- Ford Taurus SHO ‘10
- Holden HSV w427 ‘09
- VW Golf R ‘10
Okay so the Golf R needs a bit of work to make it a proper competitor.
It starts in D spec so with stickyest compound tyres and wider tyres it grips like a gecko and handles better than most cars i have used (ends up in C Class though with all that)
It's also a 3 door so that will please a lot of people.
Holy Crap. The engine swap option is the V10TT from the Touareg lol.
The w427 is a super boat.
Gets is rear out on most corners but has enough power to pull it back into line if you feather the accelerator or countersteer before the point of no return.
The E63-AMG is much better in every way than the commondore.
Easy to control and not boat like in it's handling.
The mx5 superlight is a bit boring to be honest.
The Bentley supersports goes like a rocket and handles really well for a large car.
The Taurus SHO doesn't handle too well for an AWD car.
Mini coupe concept handles poorly as well compared to the other versions of the mini.
Renault Megane RS 250 is a mad car, very scirocco like.
Easy to control and has a bit of go.
Seat Leon Cupra R has good control but doesn't have the power behind it that the Megane has.
Vauxhall Insignia VXR goes quite well and handles okay.
Good for a stock D class though.
Could go quite well with a tune up.

I played this game for the first time at your house and I loved it! Racing the Touareg against the Q7 isn't something you can do on every game....
Just wish it came on PS3.
2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon
I love doing those sort of races.
Audi vs bmw in the same spec.
Touareg vs Q7 etc.
You will get GT5 eventually but they keep pushing it back.
I put the V10TT into the golf for a laugh.
Upgraded everything on the car and it goes to R3 class but the power delivery is not the best as it drops off quite quickly through the rev range.
Still handles okay thougha nd you can do inside view for it
