    Forum Upgrades

VWWatercooled is about to undergo a major server upgrade after we managed to overload and crash the current server yet again Who would have thought that out "little" community would have grown so much so quickly.

When this happens the forum will be locked down with no new posts for up to 24 hours (although you will be able to read all the content). Everything should look and work the same (although much faster) on the other side.

If for some reason you can't access the website, check out our Facebook page for updates:

    Update:

Testing is underway on the new servers and everything seems to be coming online pretty well. **Watch this space!**

Yeah there's been a few times when I've clicked links in subscription emails and the page decided not to load, had to wait a minute and refresh. I'm sure the upgrade will go well

OK Guys, it looks like the shift is due to happen tonight or early tomorrow morning. The forum will likely go down for an hour or so when the switch happens but will be up ASAP after than.

    UPDATE!

We are now on a shiny new server, it took a little longer than expected but at about 1:45am everything looks to be up and running as it should.
Post in here and let me know if you are running into any problems with the site so I can look into fixing them ASAP.

    Wow, I didn't feel a thing

    Congrats on the successful migration

Yes congratulations to everyone involved. Didn't really notice anything and everything works again "as normal" this morning.

Great result and hopefully the forum keeps on growing.

Everything seems a lot more snappy and pages don't seem to stick any more.
