As it turns out I now know how to change the Tyres on the van
What is cool is the orange triangle and the first aid kit, sadly the widow maker is still much the same.

Man that is rough.
You've only had it like a week or so.
A few Tig owners were just saying on the weekend that we might remove the spare from the boot to yield even more space as none of us have had a tyre go in so long.
Seems i might need to reconsider for a while.
Is it a full sized spare?

On the bright side I guess its good practise for umm... the next time? :S
The spare is under the car, a couple of bolts and it drops free very easily.
The upside is it's a 100% fill size spare and a matching alloy wheel to boot so I dno't have to stuff around and swap it back in later
The only downside is getting it back under the car. For the trip to the tyre place I just chucked it in the back, but after picking it up it just wouldn't go back under, seems the tow bar add's an extra inch of steel you have to get around (or it could have been all the luggage in the back not helping either), but I had to get out the jack to get it up an extra little bit to get the spare back into it's holder. After I had that extra clearance it was pretty easy... would hate to do it in the rain though since you basicaly have to lay under the car.
The tool kit is a bit interesting, the wheel brace is a really cheap POS, pretty rough round the edges to the point where I think it scratched the wheel getting it off. The window maker is everything you'd expectThe wheel nuts also don't come with dust covers anymore and looks pretty ordinary, especially after hacking at them with the stock brace... will have to look into either some covers or some chrome bolts to clean up the look.

Is the spare secured under or in the boot?
Just wondering if you had to remove your boot contents to get to it.
Hope its a repairable puncture and doesn't involve purchasing a new tyre![]()
