Or a sport-tronic Audi. Or Audi CVT.

Or, people can udnerstand that the DSG is an automated manual rather than a auto, and driving it in a certain way will burn out the clutch quickly.

Or, VW can investigate stronger components to address the reliability issues.

You are perhaps not interested in any way about resale value or servicing costs. It's your call.

Ok what non VW people want to know the following catergories.

1. Rogues gallery

2. OK just.

3. Good reliable sporty models.

There you go can't say I am not interested.
Had a beach buggy years ago. Lots of fun, but don't associate the word reliable there.

So no one really knows if there is actual fix for this problem.
That's not quite comforting assurance from VW. hmm...
This really baffles me cause Jetta 118TSI Comfortline did really fit all my criteria. Except that now with this VW issue, it is so hard to just brush it off.
I really hope VW comes out and do something about it real soon.
Obviously, I am not very keen on the Jetta any more. 1 question though, has the cars that's currently being manufactured are ok? For example, MY13 or MY13.5 Jetta. Or there is no current information what so ever. Cause I dont seem to be able find any info any where.

These are the sorts of posts that punch well above their weight, for people who are unfamiliar with the brand.

VW is in the spotlight, especially as we are watching Ford Australia no longer produce cars.

would it be worth getting a dsg tune like from harding performance.Would it help with no future problems with the dsg.

So we'll see that in an article obviously slightly worded differently?

Ford will cease local production 2016 ands whats it got anything to do with VW.
