Seems all over the place - I asked Mikinoz what happened with his stuff as he mentioned delays in his Mk1 thread, his was posted on the 4/8 and he got it on the 16/8.
    Very frustrating!

Waiting on 2 sets of brake pads here. Glad I'm not alone. My vendor, Summit Racing says I can claim for missing parcels after 30 days.

What's your favourite excuse for this current delay?

    Here's mine.

We have been advised by the postal administration of Australia that the Puyehue-Cordón Caulle volcano eruption on June 4th, 2011 in Chile; has disrupted air transportation to, from and within Australia and New Zealand region. The Australian Volcanic Ash Advisory Centre (VAAC) continues to monitor the volcanic activity. As of July 26th 2011, airspace continues to be affected and mail processing will be impacted as a result of the disruption to air services until further notice.

Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your business.

USPS are normally pretty good, but had some new audio equipment sent with them on 12-07 which only arrived yesterday, so if anyone is experiencing any delays, be patient

I deal with the States reasonable frequently - 7 to 10 working days is normal for a small parcel - 15 to 20 for something bigger.

it also depend where the item is shipped from.

For example Dallas Fort Worth is a customs training centre and EVERTHING gets checked - it's a nightmare.

Usually a day or two in customs Stateside and about the same here.

Also USPS is simply the United States Postal Service - good old regular mail , same as Aussie Post - NOT a priority service.

UPS is an international priority carrier.

My orders from GAP were USPS the first few times but due to cost I've requested them to go through UPS. Cheaper quotes, and always prompt.
