I no longer drive a VW, but have an iPod as it's by far the best MP3 player out there. I point blank refuse to use a Mac, iPhone or iPad though.
Cheers,

The iPod is the best MP3 player out there?
On what basis?
It has only average sound quality, measured subjectively and objectively (with audio test equipment)
It has limited music file type support, not supporting key open standards such as FLAC and OGG.
It has no digital music output (toshlink optical, coaxial, hdmi, or even usb to a DAC).
It doesn't support gapless playback or ReplayGain (volume normalisation) unless the files are first processed via iTunes, which means putting music on an iPod takes numerous times longer than most other MP3 players out there.
Once you put your music on it, you access the files (only syncing via a paired copy of iTunes, or specific third party software)
And you're forced to use iTunes... an average at best music management/playback software.
Whilst certainly the highest selling "MP3 player" out there, it's by no means the best in anything related to music.
This is going to get messy I'd say.. But I agree with Corey.

Nothing particularly and I'm not out to convince anyone of anything, there just seems to be a high percentage of cross over.
Each to their own, I used to be very anti-Apple, but have since turned... that said I still have Windows machines in the house tooI appreciate both sides of the fence.

My issue is that if you want to use apple products, that's as far as it goes. It's all apple and it's all tied to apple. Where as if I use microsoft and a variety of other companies' products, I have free roam of any number of independent companies offering hardware and software.

I think that there may be a little bias in this thread as mainly people who use a Mac will reply..

I think Macs and VW's are much nicer looking and nicer to use than a PC and say a Toyota, BUT, As much as i love my iMac i still have a PC for CAD, i have a Toyota ute for work, and probably always will, along side my VW, which i don't have atm but have had a few... I like the best of all worlds.
