    Colour for new number plates

    Hi all.
Im looking to order some Euro style number plates for my car.
I did have my heart set on black for my black bora as the combo was going to be V VW 666 but seems someone has now taken it

Not sure if i should get black or white now. both look good on the bora, but im likely to end up with dads gold passat in a couple of years and the white will look best on it.
They will be fitted to Dubaddiction frames if that makes any difference. So watch out Tim

What would you guys get in my situation?
    Black or White

Thanks for the input as per usual

I'd go black with white letters/numbers.
    Looks more classy...

    +1 for black.

Just brought my second set of black ones.

To me the white ones are a poor mans euro (unless specifically brought to match a colour scheme).

Go for the blacked out bora dyl

Is there such thing as black European rego plates? In Europe, i mean...
That would be the deciding factor for me. Obviously black on black is going to look good, even on a gold Passat.
But if you want it to look truly European, i'd go with white.

Sort of like those slimline euro-look plates. Is there such a thing as a real slimline European rego plate?

thanks for all those that posted comments and polled!
iv noticed that if you get the next number in line, you only have the option of a white background.
so black wont be as common, so on top of what you guys have said, that has sold me.

IH8.. also don't they have yellow over seas? we dont get that option but as you point out slimline euros? that AUS for you i guess

Do you actually get a choice on the mainland? Here we only get white with black letters and the first letter is fixed at whatever they are using at the time...
