I'm fairly sure they didn't have a warrant, but I didn't even think about it at the time, had no idea I could say no to them, assumed cooperating with police would work in my favour some how

To the the no hoper who reported Ben's car get a life. If you really want to make the world a safer place go to the train station and take photo's of drug deals, go to second hand markets and get stolen goods, go to Safeway get people buying a kitchen. GET A LIFE

thanks for the support on hating on whoever reported it guys, I can't believe how petty some people are, no one's ever told me they had a problem with the car so I have no idea who it was.

I've deleted my build thread and won't be making a new one, I'll keep the interesting things to facebook where I can control who's watching and will take plates off at meets before people take photos

this is a load, who really cares what you have done to your car Ben. does it hurt anyone? i don't think so. must be someone who has no idea about how to make a car look good and is jealous of your ride

I hope the scumbag who reported this car gets hit hard by karma. Just making an innocent guy's life difficult for absolutely no good reason, and forcing him to take his build thread down, which for a lot of guys like me is a source of motivation and is one of the things that got me into these cars. Seriously, how can you look yourself in the mirror?

Also, Candyman, would you give the guy a break? Why would he lie about how many officers there are? Jeez...

Such bull**** man. Putting up with this crap is ridiculous, and there arn't many other words to appropriately describe it.
Bottom line is though, I hope it all works out at least a little to your favour mate. Seems it's gone downhill so it's got to come up sometime.
Karma will come to those who do things like this. Hopefully your Uncle can sort you out a decent plan of attack for this.

Police have 100% access to everything on facebook... friends list block list or not... if anything its more dangerous.. i have completely removed myself from social media/networking after seeing first hand how the authorities can use your information (and this is the poxy little police force in new zealand ..)

Im sorry you got done for your mods...

The car laws you guys have over there are seriously messed up and ridiculous...
We see all the aussie cops shows here in NZ... where the aussie pigs make them selves seem like they are doing a great public service, docking poor kids (car enthusiasts... with a pod filter oil catch can and a blow off valve...

Get the wankers with chopped springs and rusting peices of unsafe crap off the road....

$5.00 says candyman is the nark...

yeah I know police can access facebook, but I doubt they watch everything everyone posts, so can't see why theyd go through mine without giving them
a reason, and even on there I'll blur nameplates.

our laws here certainly are ridiculous, one day I'd love to move somewhere that car enthusiasts aren't treated like criminals and I can work on my car in peace.
