No no no no no, the Mk2 is the improved version of the Mk1, and its better looking. Not that i don't like Mk1's, but if i had to choose ...I'll have a Golf Lmited please, and a Rallye, and a 16V.

coming from a non biased person (myself) i would have to say the mk1 and mk3 are the best looking.......by far!

in saying that, all VW's can look nuts when done properly but in regards to the golfs, the 1 and the 3 just have that extra edge.
