He used to hang around with one of my good mate's & that's how I got to know.

Yeh that would be him.

Haven't seen him in nearly 10 year's. Last time we spoke he lived in Laverton.

Yeh, the cop's dragged him out of the car, lifted the bonnet & said, "what's going on under here, where's the turbo?".
His reply was "it's stock!"

He used to be the sweeper car on some rally's & would be faster than the actual people who were competing in the rally & that was in a stock volvo.

Mad bugger. It's one of those story's that never die's. Man's a legend.

The only person who I know that better his effort was my cousin with a no braking standing start burnout. The judge even read how long it was in court. From memory it was over 350m.
He was wearing his shoes out for 8 month's & he still say's it was worth it!

Yes..yes Iam. The 850r is, for me, like a unicorn. Especially the wagon. I don't expect everyone to get it..but a know of a few on here who do. I love that thing..
