Fifth Gear is a useful between Top Gear filler, I don't know why they ditched Tom Ford, I thought he was quite entertaining, possibly too Top Gear-esque for a differently branded show.

Yeh, I thought he was good too. He seemed to disappear after the mini-van (may have been caravan, unsure) race crash. So maybe it was a personal decision of his to leave as well.
