thanks for posting this... lighting it up from the lights is fun every now and then, and i always turn and look when e.g. an F6 smokes its tyres, but it really speaks to how much of a simpleton this guy is, that he's doing it for 5mins straight, and still keeping himself entertained.

    1. guy should be banned for life for being willing to risk harm to security like that. i bet the bogan fcker doesnt even speak his own mother language properly, degenerate *******.

    2. they should tow him out of there by attaching the winch to his blower (i would, feigning "i thought it would be okay?").

    3. i hope someone from security stole his go-pro. i bet the dumb fck didnt even take that into account when he started "standing up for his rights" to security afterward.

Some times you are the biggest fag Buller.

    Lighten up ffs.

He was disqualified from the previous round for ****ty reasons and props to him for giving the crowd what they wanted.

If you could do a power skid or a burnout you would probably appreciate it a bit more.

hey i dont have a problem with the burnout itself, it's not my thing, but there's a whole other culture behind it, and i appreciate that.

the fact that he saw fit to threaten the safety of the burnout crew? "no, i dont care! i want to do a burnout! i will threaten to run over these guys because i want to do a burnout NOW!!!!" <<< that stupid pr7ck is probably no smarter than my dog.

hmmmm not exactly sure you know both sides of the story. He was disqualified for not following marshals directions in the qualifying round. He hit the barrier and the car stalled and they claim the marshals told him not to start the car, he turned the car on, then they say they told him to turn it off and he didn't. There is a video that shows that the fire marshals did not say anything, they waved the tow truck away and he got the thumbs up and a qualifying slip.
The burnout crew are probably even bigger bogans than he is and although the danger is really minimal what sort of **** head stands in front of a big block blown gemini with an angry driver for the sake of a procedure and insurance liability.
He later apologized for his brain fart, the issue was reviewed and was given a one year ban instead of a life time ban.

Also keep in mind that the motor in that car costs more than a new polo gti, thats not including the rest of the running gear. If me and you both put our minds and money together we still wouldn't be able to build an equivalent burnout car.

i'll admit that i didnt know his side of the story at all. i saw the clip, perused half a page of youtube comments, and shot from the hip. all i saw was what (on face value) looked to be someone endangering people (which the video depicts), yes it would appear that he made a split second decision which wasnt the right one, but i'm the kind of person that errs on the side of caution and you wouldnt catch me dead disobeying any officials at any sort of event. that's where i was coming from.

and i dont doubt the money put into a car like that - 1500hp isnt going to come cheap, doesnt matter if its in a bugatti veyron supersport, or an old gemini, either way, i know that none of the cars i'd like in my dream garage could compete in build-price terms.

obviously if officials deemed fit to reduce his ban, then its not as bad as one viewing of the clip would have one believe (like i did).

but his momentary brain fart didnt do him any justice in the clip imo.

    I'm with you Scott.

I feel sorry for the guy that he was disqualified from doing the only thing that he wanted to do and had spend a fortune getting there.

But his brain fade on the day was reckless and stupid. We all know officials can be ****heads sometimes, but they are the ones with the big sticks
