    Correct as well, but I think we can all agree on the fact that the overwhelming amount of awesome compensates for any reliability issues, it is Italian after all...

    The HF Delta is a true beast of a car, and totally awesome... One of the only truly successful Italian vehicles that went better in forward than reverse, and didn't change sides when it looked like loosing....

    I think when you own a car as old as MK1 your definition of unreliable and safe changes quite a bit. What I might call completely unsafe and unreliable would be something you'd accept as second nature given you've been driving them for so long, to be honest the only Mk1's that don't seem to be riddled with problems are either ones that have been rebuilt from scratch or are just rolling shells. You're kidding yourself if you can call your regular MK1 a reliable car, let alone roadworthy but anyway here is some more inspiration and less BS:
