Shipping method is irrelevant - you're screwed anyway

Give Alan Norton's a call and see what they quote - I'm sure they'll look after the car. Avoid CEVA like the plague.

Used CEVA to transport late BMW Bris to Perth last year, were ok to deal with and paid extra for fully enclosed.

My only advice would be to check with the cheaper operators as to how they load the vehicle. Many use a forklift and place the car on racks above the rest of the load, not something I'd be overly keen to pay $$$$ for. Just drove across the country and came across a car perched high on racks, driver admitted that it had had an interesting trip as the rear trailer of the double B (attached behind it) had rolled....

I used PrixCar to get our Jetta over from Sydney to Adelaide.

I'm in the trade, so a good price sweetened the deal, but in any case another happy customer.
    Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Choose two.
