You don't need to spend big money if you don't want to.

I have a car that will never owe me a great deal and have fun putting about in it and making it mine with personal embelishments.

However, I have a fully restored car that was imported from overseas after being worked on by a great mechanic and will never see that back if I sold it - however I had the spare at the time an intend on keeping it so my kids know what the 60's were like to some degree.

Hell the most amusing part of all of this is a person buying a 90K car will have the depreciation of a mint MK1 in the space of under 12 months!

Agreed my mate brought a V10 Toureg, cost over 150k, 18 months later, tried to trade it in got offered less than 80K
